All postgraduate students and faculty members from the field of biochemical and life sciences are encouraged to participate.

Abstract Submission for Oral/Poster presentations

For those who are interested in on-stage oral and poster presentations, please also indicate your preference and submit the research abstract in the registration form by 20 June 2025

Abstracts are submitted using the online registration form;
Only Word and PDF formats are accepted;
Please specify your file name as Affiliation_SURNAME_Firstname
(e.g: "HKUST_CHAN_Tai Man");
The abstract content should include: Title, Author Names, Affiliations, Email address of the presenting author, and abstract text (preferably <300 words).

Poster presentation guidelines

Poster format:

Attendees are responsible for printing and bringing their own posters, as there will be no printing services available at the venue.
The recommended poster size is A0: 841 mm (width, from left to right) x 1190 mm (height, from top to bottom)
Maximal size: 980 mm (width, from left to right) x 1390 mm (height, from top to bottom)

Poster presentation:

Each presenter will be allocated 10 minutes for their poster presentation, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session.
Presentations will be evaluated by faculty members, and poster awards will be determined based on the scores assigned by the evaluators.

On-stage oral presentation guidelines

For attendees who would like to be considered for on-stage oral presentation, if your abstract is selected, you will be notified via email by 15 June 2025.

Awards

There will be awards for the best on-stage oral presentations and the best posters.
